Yellowtail is a firm seasonal favourite and is in abundance at certain times of year, it's individually line caught by local fisherman.
The flesh is pink when raw and is best pan fryed or on the braai oiled skin side down for about 6-8 minutes depending on thickness.
Take care not to overcook, as it can dry out, and when it's ready the flakes are firm and white.
Some people can be sensitive to the naturally occurring higher levels of histamine in Yellowtail which can cause an upset stomach or other symptoms.
We debone the Yellowtail for you, and it comes vacuum packed for your convenience.
You can use it within 3 days from the fridge or up to 3 months from the freezer.
